When it comes to decorating my living room, I’m always down to try something new, no matter the style. It’s something that really makes me happy! I love switching things up now and then, so I want to share some awesome designs with you today.
Minimalist decorations can be tough to pull off since you have to choose which items to showcase, and that can be a bit tricky. After all, everyone wants to show off their favorite pieces. In this post, we’re diving into some beautiful designs to help you kick off your decorating journey.
You might have some thoughts before checking this out, but seriously, keep an open mind! You never know, you might find something even cooler than what you were thinking, and you’ll totally love it because these designs are next-level.
Setting up the light
Living rooms need to have the right lighting setup. If you don’t organize the lights well, it can totally mess with your TV viewing. Just picture trying to watch a movie with bright lights shining right on the screen—it’s super distracting!
You want some spots in the room to be a little dim, especially around the TV, so you can have the best time watching shows. If your place has windows that bring in natural light, you’re already halfway there.
Saving space
Making the most of your space is key, no matter how small your room is. Every little bit of space counts! So, grab some shelves that can fit a ton of stuff, even in those awkward corners.
Wall paint options
Wall paint selection is vital to the beauty of a room, the color and what you place on the wall go a long way in your decoration journey so you have to make sure to pick a vibrant and lovely color.
Wall painting is probably the first thing to do for most people because you\’re working with a small space and you want the little items to align with the color of the wall.
Color placement
I take it that you already have some items in mind or at home, but if you don\’t and you\’re starting from scratch then you should opt for items whose colors are nice and match each other.
Couches and rugs are very famous for having similar colors in living rooms and so are the curtains too. I am not saying you should get the same colors for all your items but some items should have similar colors while the rest can have another similar color making everything look lovely.
Table and couch setting
Tables are very important in this journey as everyone loves center tables. Opting for smaller tables would be the perfect choice as we’re trying to manage all the spaces. Wicker tables would be perfect if you\’re a fan of bohemian style.
A single or double couch should be okay because I don\’t see any spaces where three couches would fit. Unless you have a big space, two couches should be more than enough.
Setting tv stand
I don\’t think you want to call it a living room if you don\’t have plans for a TV place. A TV place that\’s very close to the wall would be perfect. You can try opting for a TV place with shelves where you can keep books or have some plants to decorate the area.
Floor setting
I always make sure my curtains share the same color as my couch and wall paint as that makes way for a lovely decoration.
The floor decor is something that I always keep in mind as I like the idea of placing center rugs on the floor. Center rugs always contribute to the beauty of my home and that\’s why I never miss a chance to add them, I also love experimenting with different colors.
If you\’ve digested the tips of setting up your living room then you\’re ready to see these beautiful designs that will get you ready for the most artistic experience.

How do you make a design look perfect with little items? This is how. I\’ve never felt the need to go all in on a design until I saw this. You don\’t need all the items in the world to make your living room perfect and this design confirms it.
I love the plant pots as side table replacements, it looks smooth and round in that Conner. The center tables and chairs also adapt the same color and material used for the plant vase making everything look very unique.

Any decoration is possible if you’ve got the mindset to do it. A lot of people would have easily given up if they were given this small space but this design shows that you can get the best out of nothing.
This is a room in which every item was carefully calculated and measured to fit the tiny space that was given. No space is too tiny for you to create the perfect look, all you need is the idea and the zeal to create the perfect look.

Wall arts are always an option and I never miss an opportunity to use them. Perfectly arrange the wall art just behind the couch to bring you the best look. Incorporate a grey sofa as they can be easily paired with white wall art.
A white rug is always an option if the walls are white and the sofa carries a similar color. Wooden tables are also welcome if you want a more traditional look. Try setting up the book shelve in a small corner to save space.

The two sofas adopt different designs that contribute greatly to the beauty of the room. A lovely table that\’s preferred at the side instead of the center. If you love an all white experience then you\’ll love this.

I can\’t get enough of this look this looks like pure luxury but in a tiny space. Who says you need the biggest space to make your living room look luxurious, if you use the perfect items and design, anything can look luxurious.
The sofa is the stand-out item here as it looks expensive and priceless. The shelving arrangement is something you want if you want to manage your space and create an artistic look in the process.

Incorporate a nice center table with the chair material to make it look uniform. A nice rug with bright colors like this one to match an already bright sofa. Opt for an artistic wicker basket as side table to give a small traditional vibe.
Plants are very much welcome in any decoration and a big plant in the corner wouldn\’t take up too much space. Arrange your wall art in a diagonal pattern, wall art is already beautiful so setting a pattern for it gives a stylish look

A double center table is not something you see every day but I love this one. This is a mixture of modern and a nice traditional look. This is the best way to style a corner space, no space is too small for this design.
Two wooden center tables that host a lovely artistic flower plant for the complete traditional look, wooden wall art to match the wooden table and its accessories, and a lovely rug for the complete traditional look.

Arranging lots of wall art in a diagonal or straight manner is a way to make the wall look stylish, instead of just placing them and walking away. Get a nice glass shelf where you can place all your books, vases, and other items to save space and you should consider setting the shelve up in a tight corner too.
A single sofa is more than enough if you’re managing a small space like this. Also consider l-shaped sofa as they have a way of fitting in conners. Vintage tables are great for a long term decoration.

You might like a more traditional look but modern sofas are the new trend and you’ll love them especially if they come in a bright color like this. Select a nice bohemian rug that if you want a blend of both modern and traditional vibe.
A nice flower pot replacing the side table is a great option if you’ve got sofas with handles, that way you always have something to place your remote or drink. A white wall paint plus these colorful items would be the game changers as white paint tends to align with many colored items.

Going full bohemian is a way to create the most artistic look and I\’m up for it. Consider low artistic tables like this along with low couches so they all measure up to each other. Wall art is always allowed but a nice wooden wall area is perfect for that bohemian look.
Wooden lamps and wooden flower pots are the the cherries on the cake because they will look artistic and at night, you\’ll get the most colorful experience. Wooden wall art in place of paint is something you\’ll do if you\’ve got more budget but if not, every other thing is just fine.

If you don\’t want to go all in on bohemian decor then go for little items that represent bohemian decoration and you\’re good to go. This room adapts a partial bohemian look and a modern look creating the best mixture of both.
The mixture of a modern and traditional bohemian look is not something I expected to see this soon. The wicket tables are round and gorgeous giving the best vintage look also.

If you want the most uniform look then go for paintings that are bright while also keeping bright items in mind. Incorporate a nice vintage table that’s as bright as the couch and rug to get a uniform experience.
You don’t need too much wall art if your walls are as bright as this but it’s also a good choice because wall arts bring a lovely artistic vibe. Transparent curtains that transmit light through them will give a less bright aesthetic and colorful vibe.

Consider vintage candleholders on a nice vintage table to complete a vintage look in the middle of the room. A small vintage floor lamp and a well-arranged wall art are great for a new experience. Opt for flower pots of different shapes to keep a versatile decor.
Rugs are not to be forgotten if you’re looking for something to match the vintage center table. If you don’t want to go all in on vintage style then a white modern couch should do the trick as it’s the same color as the walls and rugs they’re placed on.

I love art and I love the fact that you can make art out of nothing. I haven\’t gotten over the beauty of the previous design and am graced with this one. I wouldn\’t have thought that placing hats on the wall would be a good substitute for wall art until now.
The hat arrangement is genius, the window is big enough for the perfect light to come in, and a lovely couch that matches the rug perfectly and also bears the same color as the wall.

Plants have always been one of my most important items when it comes to decoration. Not everyone can pull off a a good plant decor but this design has one of the best plant arrangements I\’ve seen in a while.
Plants are enough to give the most artistic look, chairs that are used instead of sofas to manage space, and the most artistic-looking bohemian rug to bring a nice look.
These designs are wonderful and I love every one of them. I hope you kept an open mind because after looking at these designs, I\’m sure you\’re already thinking of changing a thing or two you\’ve already planned before.
